Fun With PhotoShop Elements

Yesterday I posted a photo for Wordless Wednesday. Here is how I did it. First I took this photo on Christmas day, just before dusk, at my brother-in-law's farm.Next, I applied Auto Smart Fix to brighten it up just a bit. Then I applied Adjust Color/ColorCurves/Increase Contrast just to give it some pop.
Finally, I applied the Solarize filter in the Adjust Color/Color Curves box. That's when the magic happens. It's very simple, very straight forward. Believe me, if I can do this, anyone can.

How cool. I've not tried anything in Photoshop. I always am amazed at the folks that can use that program so well.

Have a terrific day. Big hug. :)

I have the program but don't know how to use it! That's pretty bad.
I love your final photo! It's stunning...
Check out Linda at "Are We There Yet?" (http://mouseski.blogspot.com).
She's really good with the camera, too and is posting some of her photos at "Red Bubble." Maybe you'd like it, too.

The middle photo is the one I'd blow up and frame. Love it. Isn't it fun to play around with color and effects?!

That's incredible, Driller! I have Adobe Photoshop and I'd proceed the same way to get a fantastic photo like yours! Isn't it amazing how you can "save" dark photos like that? :)

that is pretty cool--
my hubby has a degree in fine art photography, in an actual darkroom with chemicals and film. He has several solorized black and white photos that he has done, it is so cool!
