Little Lady Hoops

Friday night we kept the three youngest grandcrew. The two girls had basketball games Saturday morning. They are playing in the Upward league at church. That brings me to the reason for this post. I took my camera along just in case there was an opportunity for a good photo. I just couldn't resist this shoe comparison.

Old School vs. New Wave

As you may have already guessed by now, "Old School" belongs to the youngest grand daughter.
They're her everyday sneakers. She had to wear them because she has out grown her real basketball shoes. But, she loves those shoes and thinks nothing of having to wear them in competition. Still, I thought the pink Converse All Stars were priceless.

And don't they just go well with that green uniform?

I love those pick tennis shoes. My granddaughter, who will be 18 this summer, love pink shoes. I've gotten in trouble more than once for buying her too many pairs. What fun to watch the girls play.

Have a terrific rest of the weekend. :)

Oh, Converse are BACK and with a vengeance... My youngest "NEEDED" three pairs herself... but I blame that on David Tennant mentioning them a year and change ago... He brought 'em up, everyone here at her school "HAD" to have them and "NEEDED" them badly.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X7boeBf5pbQ for reference... come at about the 2/3 mark... "I got that from you! ...and the trainers!"

Very cute! She appears to have quite the handle on that high dribble too.

That was a nice post...I got a warm fuzzy (and wonder what happened to my purple high tops? And hoping to high heaven no one took photo's of them...though at the time I thought they were cool!)
