Ruby Tuesday

These ruby red berries are hanging on a Nandina bush at the side of the house. With temperatures now dipping into the teens, I don't know how much longer they will last.

I scrolled down your site and found pix suitable for Ruby Tuesday in every post.
Being lousy in geography I'd say that Oklahoma belonged to the wild west states with snow and all that.
Your berries show I am faaar out.

What a great photo! They look good - can you eat them? Maybe the birds will have a feast :)

These are red. Obviously much better looking than tasting - even the birds avoid these! But ruby red they are, so perfect for Tuesdays! Happy Ruby Tuesday! And thanks for the nice words on my RT

Oh my gosh... those are so beautiful! Are those edible?

My Ruby Tuesday posts are here and here. Hope you can pass by, too!

Felisol; Oklahoma is considered to be southwest by most. It would probably be the northeastern most state in the southwest.

PWC: Like Ralph says below, even the birds won't eat them. That's why the look so great on the bushes.

Ralph: Thank you sir. I glad you like the pic.

FodieJenn: Nope you can't eat these. They are strictly for looks.

I've always loved Heavenly Bamboo! Even in So CA, it changes color - and that's pleasant.

So, you've gone from the Corvette to a lounge chair. Hmmmmmm.......

Wow - that's ruby red!
Hard to believe they still look like that this time of year.

Perfect color for RT. You have lots of green leaves for such a cold temperature.
Happy RT, and Thanks for stopping by. Come back anytime.

Gracie: It is a great plant in the landscape.

Napaboniya: They do have wonderful color and there are several bunches of them on the plant.

Carletta: We've had a lot of rain this year and, until now, it has been a mild winter.

B & G: They are nearly an evergreen in this part of the country.

Dora: They might look juicy, but they're hard as a rock.
