Thrusday Thirteen No. 21/100!!!

While this is my 21st Thursday Thirteen, it is my 100th post!!! I started blogging a little less than a year ago and I had no idea where it would take me. I wanted my 100th post to be special, so this Thursday Thirteen is dedicated to the thirteen reasons I celebrate Easter.

1. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16

2. Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be betrayed to the chief of priests and to the scribes, and they will condemn Him to death, and will deliver Him to the Gentiles to mock and to scourge and to crucify. And the third day He will rise again.
Matthew 20:18-19

3. For He will be delivered to the Gentiles and will be mocked and insulted ans spit upon. They will scourge Him and kill Him. And the third day He will rise again. Luke 18:32-33

4. Arise, shine, for your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you.
Isaiah 60:1

5. But now Christ is risen from the dead, and has become the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. 1 Corinthians 15:20

6. ....Why do you seek the living among the dead? He is not here, but is risen!... Luke 24:5-6

7. In my Father's house are many mansions; if it were not so I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. John 14:2-3

8. Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. John 14:6

9. The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy, I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantantly. John 10:10

10. This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am chief. 1 Timothy 1:15

11. Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Do not marvel that I said to you, You must be born again. John 3:5-7

12. For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6:23

13. And this is the promise that He has promised us --eternal life. 1 John 2:25

I celebrate Easter because of the truth of Christmas. I celebrate Easter because Christ is who He said He is! There is truth, and there is absolute truth, and Christ is that absolute truth. The one fact about absolute truth, it does not require you to believe it in order for it to be true. Christ is the risen Son of the Living God regardless of your belief. The truth is presented in these two videos. Enjoy.

Wonderful Easter T-13 with lots of food for thought. Congratulations on your 100th post. You can do your list of 100 things on your 101st post like I did (actually I did 101 Things just because) after the Anglophile Football Fanatic pointed out this ‘tradition’ to me when I did a 100th post Haiku some time back.
Hugs and blessings,

WOW! This was so wonderful. Thank you for the focus. I was having a case of the pitifuls this evening because I didn't pull out Easter Decorations and I felt that I have lost a certain enthusiasm that I once had. Your post put things in perspective. It is much more the condition of the heart, not of the home! Thanks.
