I'm pleased to see that the coaches are teaching the kids a proper fielder's stance, with the glove on the ground and not resting on the knees. That was one of the first things I learned in the couple of years I played baseball.
I am certainly not the best photographer in the world, but I do enjoy working with a camera and PhotoShop Elements. Most of the photos are taken with a Nikon D80 digital SLR and an 18-135mm lens. Some are taken with a Canon A620 point and shoot digital camera. A few are taken with a Canon S3Is (semi-pro) digital camera. O.K. that is pretty darn cute!
The agony of defeat. I know that look.
Have a terrific day. Big hug. :)
Good picture, really conveys the feeling of the moment. Boy that batter's helmet sure looks bit.
What is it with these ball players and their wild personal lives? My goodness, didn't the coach warn them... early bedtime and lay off the sauce???
I hope my baby will learn that game too.
AHHH

Hip Chick: Yep, it's all about cute at that age.
Sandee: I thought it looked more like nap time at third base.
Alvis: At that age everything is big on them.
Matthew: I think the runner missed his nap.
Karen: Get him involved.
Mommanator: That's what I thought.
Travis: It runs in the family. One of his grandpa's played college ball and his dad is his coach. So, the fundamentals WILL be learned.
What a great, GREAT capture. Good job!
The runner missed his nap... and the first baseman looks like he might eat the ball and spit the fragments at the sleeping runner!
Who knew tee-ball was so stressful?!
